How to Download SG for Minecraft

The "Survival Games" are a takeoff of the popular Hunger Games novels that brings an arena where players can fight for their lives to "Minecraft." If you want to host your own "Survival Games" instead of playing on the "SG" servers, download a "Survival Games" map and invite your friends to join the competition. The map is only half the fun, though; there are rules that govern the "Survival Games" that all competitors should be aware of before joining your server. Only one player can win the "Survival Games."

Instructions

  Navigate to Minecraft Mine: Survival Games Map (link in Resources). Click the "Survival Games 1.6.2 map" link.

  Click "Download" to download The Survival Games V.1.3.zip.

  Right-click on the downloaded file and choose "Extract To." Choose a folder where the "Survival Games" files will be saved. Extract the files.

  Open the folder where the extracted files are located.

  Hover over the upper left corner of your start screen and click "Search." Type "%appdata%" and then open the ".minecraft" file.

  Double-click "saves" to open your saved games. Drag the extracted files from their location into the saves folder.

  Run the "Minecraft" launcher. Sign into the game and open the "Survival Games" saved world that appears in the list.
