How to Connect a PS3 Controller to Get Amped 2

"Get Amped 2" is a massively multi-player online fighting game developed by CyberStep. In the game, players control a customizable fighter by moving in three dimensions and battling other players. "Get Amped 2" supports keyboard, mouse and game pad controller input. The PlayStation 3 wireless controller can be used to play "Get Amped 2" using a USB cable, but the controller must first be paired with the computer. The MotionJoy application is used to install the required software drivers for the PlayStation 3 controller.

Instructions

  Download the appropriate version of the PS3 controller driver installer from the MotionJoy website. Depending on your computer's operating system, you will need the 32-bit or 64-bit version of the driver installation program. Double-click the "MotionJoy.exe" file to install the driver.

  Connect one end of the PS3 controller USB cable to one of the available USB ports on your computer. Connect the other end of the cable to the USB port on the top of the PS3 controller. The DS3 Tool application will start automatically once the controller is connected.

  Click the "Driver Manager" button on the main DS3 Tool menu.

  Click the "Load Driver" button the Driver Manager menu.

  Click the "PlayStation 3" button in the controller profile section of the Driver Manger menu. Exit the DS3 Tool application.

  Start the "Get Amped 2" game.

  Click the "Setting" button on the title screen.

  Click the "Controller Setting" tab at the bottom of the Setting menu.

  Click the "Game Controller" button and select the PS3 controller from the drop-down menu. Click the "Back" button to return to the "Get Amped 2" main menu.
