How to Create Your Own Jedi Online

"Star Wars: The Old Republic," a multiplayer online role-playing game for the PC, is based in the "Star Wars" universe. The time period of the game is based thousands of years before the famous movies at a time when Jedi and Sith were both in great numbers. Players can choose one of eight classes to play as, including two Jedi classes: the Jedi Consular and the Jedi Knight. The Jedi Knight is focused more on lightsaber and melee-based attacks while the Consular focuses more on Force-based attacks from a distance. Before you enter the world of "The Old Republic," you must create your character.

Instructions

  Launch "Star Wars: The Old Republic" and select a server to play on. All servers have access to all classes.

  Click "Create Character" on the lower right side of the screen.

  Click the Galactic Republic symbol on the left side of the screen. This symbol is light blue and reads "The Galactic Republic" when you hover your mouse cursor on it.

  Click the class icon, located at the bottom of the screen, to select your class. The Jedi Knight is the first icon in the list and the Jedi Consular is the second. Click "Next" in the lower right corner to proceed.

  Select your species from the list at the bottom of the screen. Choices include popular "Star Wars" races like Twileks and Zabrak and vary based on your class selection. Click "Next" in the lower right corner to proceed.

  Select your gender and click "Next."

  Customize your character's physical attributes, such as body type and face, using the sliders on the right side of the screen. Click "Play" when you are finished to create your Jedi and start the game.
