How to F5 on RuneScape on a Laptop

On many laptops, the function keys perform actions such as adjusting the laptop's volume or screen brightness by default. To make these function keys perform their operating system-specific actions, you must press and hold the "Fn" key before pressing the function key. This also applies to games such as "RuneScape" that utilize the function keys. If you want to use the "F5" key on a laptop to open your Attack Style menu in "RuneScape," you must use the "Fn" key to do so.

     Locate the "Fn" key on the computer's keyboard. On Windows-based laptops, this key is located in the bottom-left corner of the keyboard, between the "Ctrl" and "Alt" keys. On MacBook laptops, this key is in the bottom-left corner of the keyboard to the left of the "Ctrl" key.

     Press and hold the "Fn" key.

     Press the "F5" key while holding the "Fn" key. This will cause the "RuneScape" shortcut to be activated and the "Attack Style" menu to open.
