Mood Hack for The Sims 3

Mods and hacks for The Sims 3 give you the tools to change the behavior of your game. Options include increasing the mood of your Sims via hacked objects. Mod scripts exist that allow you to fully change, add and remove moodlets from your characters. When installing a mod, be sure to read the instructions; each mod has different prerequisites and compatibility with expansion packs, and different mods need to be installed in different folders. Before installing any custom content to your game, make sure that you've made backups of all your save files.

Magic Mood Manager
- This hack gives you the power to add moodlets and remove bad ones that are hurting your Sim's moods. You can access this menu by clicking on your Sim and selecting the "MMM" option. This mod is not a straight cheat. To use it you need to purchase a device in-game available under Electronics > Misc called "Dolphin's Magic Mood Manager." This item costs 1,000 Simoleons, and allows you to trade Simoleons in order to recharge mana for using the items. This item also has a "Cheat" option that allows you to recharge mana without spending money.
Hard-to-Please Sims
- There are two levels of this hack, which makes it more difficult to increase the mood of your Sims: one that increases the good-mood requirements for your Sim's mood on a game-play level, and a second that applies this increased difficulty to the required mood levels for your Sim's job. Both versions of the hack has three levels: one that increases the thresholds by 1.5 percent, 2 percent, 2.5 percent and 3 percent. You will need the mood mod in order to use career versions of the mod.
Magic Orchids
- Magic Orchids are basic hacked items that increase the motives of your Sims while they're in the same room as the flowers. These flowers are available by looking under "Decor" and then "Plants" and do not cost anything. You can modify which motives are increased by clicking on the orchids after you've set them up, and selecting the modifiers you prefer.
The Master Controller
- The Master Controller is a larger scale hack that affects a number of aspects of your game, including but not limited to modifications to the family tree, changes the autonomy settings for your Sims and modifications for your Sim's family. Among the mods are basic mood modifications. The Master Controller adds a menu option to any Sim, lot, computer and to your town's City Hall. By going to "Basic" and then "Mood" you can view a Sim's current mood. The mood can be affected by going to Intermediate and selecting "Add Moodlet" or "Remove Moodlet."
