How to Use VCM Creator

VCM Creator, or VCM Packager, is a mod tool for "Grand Theft Auto Vice City." It allows the user to create his own mod and install it into the game. This can be helpful if the player wishes to change game content such as player or car models. To use the VCM Creator, download and install the tool. Then import texture files to use in the game. VCM Creator can then install new game content for you.

Instructions

  Download the VCM Creator from "Grand Theft Auto Vice City" sites such as GTAForums, The GTA Place Forums or GTA-downloads. Unpack the installation files by double-clicking on the download file.

  Double-click the application program. It will ask you to input your "Grand Theft Auto Vice City" game directory, which is on your main hard drive in the "Program Files" folder.

  Run VCM Creator. It will ask you to input image files for screen shots as well as mod data files. Input these, either from your own created model or a downloaded one.

  Type in information, such as mod name, designer and replacement files and click "Install." VCM will combine the supplied data and place it in to your "Grand Theft Auto Vice City" game directory.

  Load the game and the mod will be installed and usable.
