How to Build a 57K Lightning Sorc in Diablo 2 Expansion

The Lightning Sorceress is a build you can choose to create in "Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction." Blizzard Entertainment developed and published this expansion for "Diablo 2" in June 2001. A build refers to the choices you make as your character levels up. You can allocate points to skills and stats that customize the character to your desires. The Lightning Sorceress build concentrates on maximizing the damage output of lightning-based spells to cause enemies large amounts of damage, approaching 57,000 points.

Instructions

- 1
  Concentrate your skill points into the "Chain Lightning" spell. This will be your primary offensive attack.

  Add skill points to spells synergizing with "Chain Lightning" to increase damage output. These spells include "Charged Bolt," "Lightning" and "Nova." As you add more points to both "Chain Lightning" and spells that synergize with it, your damage output will approach 57,000.

  Place the maximum number of skill points into "Chain Lightning" and its synergizing spells in to increase the damage output to maximum. Place the maximum number of skill points into "Lightning Mastery" to further increase damage.

  Acquire and equip items that either increase the damage of your spells or add points to your primary "Chain Lightning" spell, a synergizing spell or "Lightning Mastery."

  Allocate stat points into your "Energy" stat to gain a larger maximum mana pool, allowing you to cast more spells.

  Hire a mercenary companion and equip him with an item allowing him to use the "Conviction" aura. This aura lowers your enemies' resistance to lightning-based spells so you can do the most damage to them.
