How to Get the Beholder in Castle Crashers

The Beholder is an orb you can collect in "Castle Crashers" that gives you a significant ability boost. After finding it, you'll gain a +2 boost in Magic, +5 in Strength, +10 in Agility and a Fire Boost. This animal orb is not a simple one to collect. First, you'll need to get another animal orb, the Cardinal, which you'll need to use to find a hidden Key Sword, which you can then use to open the door that holds the Beholder. It may take a while, but the stat boosts are worth the extra work.

Instructions

- 1
  Play through the "Industrial Castle" level and beat the Beefy Brute at the end of the level. He'll yield up the Cardinal orb you'll need later on.

  Proceed to the "Full Moon" level. As you fight through this level, you'll come upon small shacks. Use the Cardinal orb in the second shack you come across to reveal the Key Sword. Collect the sword and finish the level.

  Proceed to the "Blacksmith" level and enter the Animal Ark. Proceed through the Ark to the door on the far left side. Attack the lock on the door using the Key Sword. After a few strikes, the lock will be destroyed. Open the door to reveal the Beholder orb.

  Collect the Beholder to gain your stat boosts.
