How to Get Shadow on Super Smash Flash

"Super Smash Flash" is a free online version of "Super Smash Bros." It pits various characters from Nintendo games against one another in battle. You start the game with a few classic characters but after performing certain feats, you can unlock more characters. One such unlockable character is Shadow the Hedgehog. Shadow may look a lot like Sonic, but his black coloring hints that this hog has a dark side.

Instructions

  Launch a web browser and visit the "Super Smash Flash" game on Newgrounds.com (see Resources for link). Select "Click here to start" and enter your name in the space provided.

  Click the game screen after your name is accepted and click "1-P Mode." Choose "Regular Match" and then "Adventure."

  Select "Sonic the Hedgehog" as your character and click "Go!" Win all battles to complete "Adventure" mode.

  Repeat "Adventure" mode using Tails and then again with Knuckles. You must win all battles with each character in order to proceed.

  Begin "Adventure" mode once again and you'll notice Shadow the Hedgehog is now a playable character.
