How to Increase Stars on the Angry Birds Game

The video game "Angry Birds" is a physics-based puzzle game that was released in 2010 for iPhone, Android and Flash-based browser plug-ins. Developed by the Finnish firm Rovio Mobile, there have been 12 million copies of the game sold, and over 150 million copies of the ad-supported version downloaded for the free. In order to unlock the various worlds, a certain number of stars must be accumulated in the various stages that make up one world of game play.

  Fire as few birds as possible on each stage. Each leftover bird gives an automatic 10,000 points to your score at the end of a stage, so your primary goal should be ending a level in a few moves.

  Use the environment in order to kill all of the pigs on the level. Environmental destruction is also a great way to rack up points, so using your birds to attack structures rather than the pigs themselves is usually a more efficient use of attack.

  Replay levels often, experimenting with various attack points, angles and special types of birds. Typically, what gains the maximum number of stars is total environment destruction or finishing the stage with maximum efficiency, usually meaning that there is a "trick" or an optimal way to solve the stage.
