How to Get TNT Quickly in Minecraft

The computer game "Minecraft" allows players to build various kinds of structures in a world made completely of various kinds of blocks. It can be a dangerous world, however, since monsters attack, particularly at night. TNT can be quite useful in "Minecraft" to not only destroy large areas of stones blocking a path but also to destroy large groups of enemies or even booby-trap a mine or house. Made of gunpowder and sand, TNT can be created rather quickly in "Minecraft."

Instructions

  Make a workbench if you have not built one yet. Collect wood from trees. Once you have a wood block, open your inventory and place the wood in the material box to make wood planks. Then place the planks in the material box to make a workbench or crafting table.

  Create a wooden sword and shovel. Collect enough wood to make two planks and a stick for each sword, place the materials in the crafting square and click on the workbench. A shovel takes two sticks and one wooden plank.

  Dig sand from the beach areas in your world. You need four blocks of sand for each block of TNT you will make.

  Kill creepers to get gunpowder, which is also called sulfur depending upon which version you play. Although creepers can wander around in sunlight, they spawn at night in darkened places, so you need to venture into the darkness to find them. You will have to kill several at least to get the required five gunpowder to make a block of TNT.

  Craft the TNT using your workbench.
