Level 1
If you enter the Security industry with your pet then you will begin as a Snooper Deterrent, which is essentially sleeping next to low-value items. Teach your pet to stay to earn a promotion. The first step in the Service career is Vermin Chaser. Teach your pet to shake and it can stop chasing pests around for a living. Your pet may dream of its own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame but everyone's got to start somewhere. The Showbiz career starts as an Extra. Teach your pet to speak to get promoted.
Level 2
The second level of the Security career is Guard Pet. You now have more expensive merchandise to protect and the days of sleeping on the job are over. Teach your pet to speak to earn a promotion to the next level. Reach level two of the Services industry and your pet is now a Therapy Pet. Teach it to come to get a promotion. The second stage of Showbiz is an Understudy. Teach your pet to roll over and you will be promoted to a Star.
Level 3
Once your pet has acquired the ability to speak in the Security Career you become a Contraband Sniffer. Your pet's new job is to sniff out illegal items on smugglers. Teach your pet how to play dead to make the final promotion in the Security industry. The third level of the Services industry is a Seeing-Eye Pet and your pet must learn to roll over to gain promotion. If you chose the Showbiz career then you will now be a stunt double. Your pet has hardly made it just yet but one more promotion will change everything. It must learn to play dead to get it.
Level 4
This is the end of the line for every career. The Service career path turns your pet into a heroic Rescue Dog, like Lassie, and those in the Showbiz career will now be an animal star, also like Lassie. Reaching the final level in the Security industry means you are now part of the Pet Corps and even though the promotions are over there is a bonus you can earn. Choose to free the team rather than tackle your captor alone when you are kidnapped and you earn a 2,500 simoleon cash bonus.
