How to Get Ganondorf in Super Smash Bro. Melee

Known to the inhabitants of Hyrule as a bringer of evil, Ganondorf's history dates back to the first "Legend of Zelda" game. Over the years, Ganondorf has undergone a physical change, but his dark characteristics remain. Introduced in the fighting series "Super Smash Bros.," Ganondorf serves as a slow, but powerful character. You must complete a specific event match to play him in "Super Smash Bros. Melee."

Instructions

  Select one-player mode when you begin the game and navigate to the "Events" matches.

  Complete at least 22 of the first 25 events and event 29 will become unlocked. Select Event 29, the Triforce Gathering, to begin the battle.

  Fight and defeat Ganondorf. The battle is set on the Hyrule Temple stage. At the start of the battle, grind down Ganondorf at the top or middle sections of the stage. If Ganondorf goes after Zelda, attack him quickly to grab his attention. You shouldn't have too much difficulty defeating Ganondorf, but if you suffer more than 80 percent damage, drop to the bottom of the stage so he can't score an easy kill.

  Defeat Ganondorf once more. After you complete the event, Ganondorf will challenge you to a fight, but this time it's one-on-one. Defeat Ganondorf again to unlock him as a playable character.
