How to Start Woodworking Crafts in Lord of the Rings Online

"Lord of the Rings Online" is a free-to-play online role-playing game for the PC. In the game, your character can learn one of seven different vocations. Each vocation has three professions, each with its own recipes and tools. Woodworking is one such profession, allowing players to make a variety of wooden weapons, such as swords and bows. To begin crafting with woodworking, you must first select the proper vocation and have the right tools and ingredients.

Instructions

  Travel to any major city, such as Bree-Land or Celondim, and speak to the "Master of Apprentices."

  Select either the "Armsman" or "Woodsman" vocation. Both of these vocations offer the "Woodworking" profession.

  Purchase the "Bronze Woodworking Tools" from the crafting trainer located next to the "Master of Apprentices." The tools cost 55 bronze and are required to craft any woodworking recipes.

  Gather wood using your forestry profession, which is obtained as part of either of the vocations you selected earlier. Additional crafting ingredients can be bought from crafting trainers or received from other players.

  Stand next to the workbench located next to any crafting trainer. Select a woodworking recipe from your crafting book to create woodworking items. A list of ingredients are displayed under the recipe you are trying to craft.

  Select "Make" underneath the recipe name to craft the item.
