How to Install The Sims Ambitions

Digital Copy

  Make sure that you already have "The Sims 3" installed. "The Sims Ambitions" is an expansion pack and will not work without the original game.

  Download the EA Download Manager before purchasing and downloading the game. This program is free and is required for the successful installation of a digital copy of "The Sims Ambitions."

  Purchase "The Sims Ambitions" from the Sims 3 website and allow it to completely finish downloading via the EA Download Manager. This may take anywhere from several hours up to up to a day, depending on the speed of your Internet connection.

  Click on "The Sims Ambitions" icon that appears in the EA Download Manager to launch the installation.

  Follow the on-screen instructions to complete installation. Be prepared to enter the serial number provided to you by EA Games at the time of your purchase.

  Open the game through the EA Download Manager to begin play.

Hard Copy

  Check that you already have "The Sims 3" installed.

  Purchase a hard copy of "The Sims Ambitions" from a physical retailer, such as a gaming store.

  Insert "The Sims Ambitions" into your hard drive and follow the on-screen instructions. Be prepared to enter the serial number that is listed on your instruction manual or disc case.

  Open the game to begin play by going to the "Start" menu. You should find it in the "Programs" folder.
