How to Master Bubble Island

Identify the bubble types on screen. Some of them, like red and orange, can be confusing to tell apart. If you can't tell what bubble you have or are going to hit, you will have to guess. This leads to mistakes, but almost as bad is taking precious seconds to identify bubble groups. At the Start of the stage, locate all the groups and keep track of them, so you only need to focus on the bubbles you shoot or the new rows that drop down.

Shoot bubbles off the sides of the walls in the game play area to hit your target. Shooting bubbles at an angle is one of the most useful skills in "Bubble Island" and the true key to high level mastery. Practice using angle shots so you are good at seeing the angles the bubble will bounce off and how it will ricochet. This allows you to hit targets you couldn't before, and take out entire lower structures that fall off if the top gets disconnected.

Shoot through the gaps. This skill can be as difficult to master as diagonal shooting, worse if you combine the two skills. The ability to shoot through the gaps in the bubble layers to hit targets in the back allows you a greater selection of targets. The more targets you can hit, the better your chances of finishing before time runs out.

Shoot fast. Practice so you have both a high level of accuracy and speed. The time-based nature of the game makes the benefit of speed obvious. This is the final skill in mastering "Bubble Island." You must plan ahead, identify problem areas that may move to close to the bottom of the screen and shoot rapidly. Try not to watch the timer. Even though speed is the focus, this will distract you during the game.
