How to Deal With Brood Lords

In "Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty," players can choose between several different playable races. Each race comes with its own special types of units. A special aerial unit for the Zerg race is called the Brood Lord. These are flying air-to-ground units that can cause high amounts of damage to ground units and buildings. The best defense in dealing with Brood Lords is flying air-to-air damaging units or strong ground-to-air ground units.

Instructions

  Attack Brood Lords with flying air-to-air units such as the Terran Viking, Battlecruiser or Protoss Phoenix. Brood Lords don't have any air-to-air defenses against other flying unit, and they are not very durable.

  Defeat a Brood Lord with a large group of ground units with surface-to-air capabilities. These units include Terran Marines, Protoss Stalkers and Zerg Hydralisks. You can back up some units, such as the Marines, with healing units like the Terran Medivac dropship.

  Defend against Brood Lords with anti-air structures, such as the Terran Missile Turret, Protoss Photon Cannon or Zerg Spore Crawler. Build these structures next to your other buildings to protect them from flying units like the Brood Lords.
