How Do I Build a Preschool on The Sims 3 - Ambitions?

For Sims who love being around children, "The Sims 3: Ambitions" offers a fulfilling career as a teacher. You start your career as a playground monitor, and work your way up to teaching high school. Eventually, you can become a district superintendent. On your career path, you are tasked with building a new preschool for the community. To do so, you first need to solicit donations from other Sims. When you have enough money, you can build the preschool on any empty lot in town.

Instructions

  Socialize with other Sims until you become friends with them. Select positive social interactions such as "Ask about day" or "Tell joke." It takes just a few minutes of talking to make friends with a Sim.

  Select "Talk About" when you are friends with a Sim. Select "Ask for donations." If a plus sign appears above your Sim's head, you received a donation. Repeat this process with other Sims until you have five donations.

  Go to the town and select an empty land plot. Click on the sign on the plot. You are asked if you want to build a preschool. Select "Yes," and the preschool appears automatically. You do not need to use your own money to build the school.
