How to Figure Out Sims2 Registration Code

If you need to reinstall "The Sims 2" on a computer or move to a new computer, the serial code is needed to properly install the file. Instead of using stolen or illegal serial numbers online, there are multiple ways to access the original serial number. If you registered "The Sims 2," you can contact EA Game directly for a replacement serial or use the "Sims 2 Key Printer" to access your own.

  Gather all of the "Sims 2" game contents that you own. This includes the original receipt, game disc, expansion packs and game cases.

  Scan all of those materials into JPG picture files. Name each of the files with the object it is. For example, if it is the game disc, label it "Sims2_GameDisc."

  Log-in to the EA Games support website. If you registered the game, then you automatically had an account.

  Copy the email address provided in the "Contact Us" section.

  Send an email with all of the scanned pictures and other information including the name you registered the game with, any screennames you use for online content and your contact information. Send the email and they will respond back with registration codes.
Sims 2 Key Printer

  Go to a Sims 2 fan website and find the Sims 2 Key Printer. Websites like Grusha and Mod the Sims offer the free download.

  Download the file and save it to your desktop. Follow the installation instructions and the software will install.

  Open the software. Wait a few moments for the application to generate the serial numbers.

  Look for the version of Sims 2 that you own. The software includes all of the expansion packs and "Stuff" software packages.

  Write down the serial numbers that you need, or go to "File" and "Print."
