Things You'll Need
Instructions
Go to your skills panel and write down how many experience points you need to go up a level in HP. This is done by hovering the mouse over the heart icon; the number will appear at the bottom right of the screen.
Find an appropriate area to grind monsters in based on your combat level.
Write down the amount of damage dealt to you the first five times a monster attacks you. Add these numbers together and divide by five to get find out the average damage dealt to you. For example, if you are hit for 33, 36, 40, 38, and 35, add these together to get 182. Then divide by 5 to see that the average damage dealt to you is 36.4.
Multiply this number by 0.133 to find out the amount of experience points you earn each time you are hit. For example, 36.4 * 0.133 is 4.84 experience points.
Divide the number of experience points needed to reach your next level by the number of experience points you earn per hit. This will tell you how many times you need to get hit to go up one level. For example, 5,000 divided by 4.84 means you need to get hit 1033 times.
