How to Remove Miria From the Party in Fallout 2

Miria is the daughter of Grisham, the owner of the Modoc slaughterhouse, in "Fallout 2." She very aggressively attempts to seduce your character if you have a high charisma attribute regardless of your gender. This causes her father to walk in on the two of you. This almost always results in a shotgun wedding where you are forced to marry Miria. She forces herself into your party after this. Miria is one of the worst companions in the game. She has terrible combat attributes, no noncombat skills and refuses to follow orders. There are several ways to force her to leave your party.

Instructions

  1. Divorce

    • 1

Go to New Reno. It is located south west of Modoc.

    • 2

Follow the main road until you reach Commercial Row. The New Reno Arms is located here.

    • 3

Enter the church. It is the building with the bright pink heart next to the door.

    • 4

      Talk to Father Tully.

    • 5

Ask Father Tully to divorce Miria and you. He agrees to do so in exchange for any alcoholic drink. Miria immediately leaves your party after you divorce her. This is the least evil way to get rid of Miria.

    Sell Into Slavery

    • 6

Go to the Den. It is located northwest of Modoc and almost directly south of Klamath.

    • 7

Walk east to reach the eastern half of Klamath.

    • 8

Enter the Slaver's Guild. This is large building on the northeast side of the Den.

    • 9

      Talk to Metzger.

    • 10

Offer to sell Miria to him as a slave. Miria is immediately removed from your party after you sell her.

    Removing Miria's Brain

    • 11

Go to the Sierra Army Depot. It is located southwest of Modoc and northwest of New Reno.

    • 12

Go down to the fourth floor.

    • 13

      Examine the organ extraction terminal.

    • 14

Choose to remove Miria's brain. Miria is removed from your party and you gain a brain that can be used to activate Skynet.

    Kill Miria

    • 15

Ignore Miria completely. She usually dies very quickly in battles. She has low attributes, insists on standing near your character, possesses no armor and has very few healing items. If you are patient, she most likely is going to die naturally during combat without your effort.

    • 16

Attack Miria. You are still capable of attacking and killing nonplayer characters (NPCs) even after they join your party. She is very easy to kill with any decent weapon.

    • 17

Walk near a trap or mine, but not close enough to activate it. Miria hovers near your character and has a decent chance of wandering into traps and killing herself.
