How to Install Fraps on NBA 2K10

Fraps is free-to-use utility software that is compatible with nearly any game for the PC. The software can be used for myriad services, including taking screenshots, capturing videos or monitoring your computer's performance, such as its frames per second rate. "NBA 2K10," which is a basketball simulator set in the NBA's 2009-2010 season, is completely compatible with the software.

Instructions

  Download and install Fraps for free from the developer's website (see Resources). To install the program, agree to its terms of use and choose a directory to install the program's files. Any directory will be fine.

  Start Fraps by opening it from the start menu or double-clicking its desktop icon.

  Start "NBA 2K10."

  Press the "Alt" and "Tab" keys simultaneously to bring up the interface for Fraps.

  Click on the service you would like to perform, whether it would be benchmarking or video capture. Once the program has begun, it will give a confirmation via its interface.

  Press the "Alt" and "Tab" keys simultaneously to bring "NBA 2K10" back on-screen. Fraps will be running in the background, and, if you choose to run its benchmarking software, your computer's current performance will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.
