How to Defeat the Garruk Challenge on Magic: the Gathering

Garruk Wildspeaker Challenge: Part 1

  Use your swamp card when the Garruk Wildspeaker challenge begins.

  Add the Blade of Blood chief to the Vampire Nighthawk card.

• 3

  Play your disfigure cards, using one on the Guul Draz Vampire and one on the Ruthless Cullblade.

  Attack Garruk's Giant Spider card with a Feast of Blood card. You should only have two creatures at this point, including a vampire nighthawk with around eight or nine health points. Garruk will have 16 health points and his spider will be gone, meaning you can start to take health points directly from him.

  End the main phase.

  Use the Vampire Nighthawk to attack Garruk and his health points will drop from 16 to 8. Attack him with the Sanguine Blood enchantment to remove the last of his health points and win the first part of the Garruk Wildspeaker challenge.

Garruk Wildspeaker Challenge: Part 2

  Use the Selective Memory card. Garruk will use lots of cards on you as the second part of the Garruk Wildspeaker challenge commences, but the Selective Memory Card will destroy all of them. All of the non-land cards will now be removed from your deck.

  Utilize your Treasure Hunt card. Your hand size will become 31 cards and your current deck will be cleared. All of the land cards will now be added to your hand.

  Play the Forest card.

• 10

  Use the Primal Frenzy card with the Maro card.

  Begin the attack phase after the main phase finishes. Play your Maro card on Garruk and the trample effect will cause Garruk enough damage to his health points to beat him and finish the Garruk Wildspeaker Challenge.
