Things You'll Need
Instructions
Draw your scene down on graph paper before you begin. Use this as a guide while you create your "Minecraft" scene.
Left click on a tree to break it down into wood blocks. Press "E" to open up your crafting menu and place your wood in the two-by-two grid. Left click on the small wood pallet to the right of the grid to collect your wood building blocks.
Fill up the two-by-two grid with wood pieces to create a crafting table. Click on it in the crafting screen and drag it to your inventory. Left click on the game environment with the craft table select to place the table. Right click on the crafting table to open up a crafting screen with a three-by-three grid.
Place one wood piece on top of another on the grid to get wooden sticks. Gather the sticks and then place one stick in the bottom center vertical row of the three-by-three grid. Place another stick above that. Finally, fill up the two horizontal rows with wood pieces to create a wooden pick axe.
Select the pick axe from your inventory and left click on your environment with it to break down material. Collect material like dirt, sand, stone, iron and coal. Rebuild your pick axe using stone as the top horizontal row material to make a stronger, more durable pick axe.
Collect material until you want to begin creating your scene. Select your material from your inventory and left click on the environment to place the material blocks. Place pieces of material on top of each other to create columns and walls.
Consult your drawing as you build to make sure you are building your scene accurately. Make each block on your drawing represent one block of building material.
Cut into the side of a mountain to build a safe area from the monsters that spawn during the night. Build your safe area away from your scene to avoid getting it damaged. Make torches by placing coal on top of a stick and use these to light up your safe area.
Build a door by filling up two vertical rows with wood blocks. Place this at the entrance of your safe area to keep out monsters.
Continue collecting materials and building on your scene until it is finished.
