How to Troubleshoot Legend: Hand of God

"Legend: Hand of God" is a role-playing game that incorporates action elements and puts you in the role of a warrior attempting to save his world from an infestation of nasty demons. Like with any other piece of computer software, you might experience problems installing the game or playing it. You can try to solve these problems by going through a few troubleshooting steps.

  Check your computer to ensure you meet the system requirements of the game if your system freezes during the installation of the game or during game play. You must be running the Windows XP or Vista operating systems. You must also have a Pentium 4 2.0 or better processor, 1024 MB of RAM and 5 free GB of hard drive space. Your video card must be at least 256 DirectX 9 or higher. If you do not meet these requirements, you cannot play the game.

  Exit the game as soon as possible if you are experiencing distorted images while playing the game or if it freezes or if you see an error message. This is most likely caused by an outdated video card driver. Visit the website of your video card manufacturer or reference the owner's manual for more information on how to update your drivers.

  Open up your browser window if you see an error message reading "Physics Error" and the game will not start. You will need to download a patch from the ValuSoft website for the game to work. Download the file and open it to run the patch, which will fix the issue.

  Click on the "Start" button and then "Control Panel" if you continue to have issues running the game. Click on "Add/Remove Programs" and a list of your programs will appear. Click on "Legend: Hand of God," then click "Remove" to delete the game from the system. Reinsert the installation disc into your computer and reinstall the game.
