How to Play Spectre

Choose one of the three tanks to play as. Each tank has a special power. For example, the "Speedy" tank is faster, but is weak, while the "Strong" tank is stronger, but is slow. You may also choose to customize your tank by selecting the "Custom" option and changing the speed, strength and balance options.

Select easy, medium or hard from the difficulty setting option, then "Start" to begin the game. If you're playing on a computer, you will guide your tank with the arrow keys while shooting with the space bar. If you're playing on an iPhone, you'll use the left side of the touch screen to move and the right side to shoot.

Collect 10 yellow flags in each level while avoiding red tanks and yellow windmills. The red tanks will shoot at your vehicle, killing you if you're hit enough times. After beating each level, the red tanks will become stronger and smaller, making them harder to kill. The yellow windmills don't shoot, but they do resemble yellow flags from a distance. If you run into the windmills by mistake, you will lose health.

Collect green boxes while navigating through the levels to get additional health and ammo for your tank.

Compete with friends by selecting "Multi-Player Mode" on the game menu. Each player competes in multiplayer mode to find a set number of yellow flags first. The game play is the same as in one player mode, but if you kill player, you'll gain their flags. Players can compete with up to four friends on a computer and 16 on an iPhone.
