How to Change My UT3 Avatar

"Unreal Tournament 3" (UT3) is a first-person shooter game. You select an avatar to represent you in the game and then take on other players or computer-controlled "bots" in a series of matches. You can customize your avatar to give it a unique look, which means that even players who use the same avatar can look different. When you start the game for the first time, it gives you the opportunity to create an avatar. If you wish to change your avatar, you can do so from the Settings menu.

Instructions

  Start your copy of "Unreal Tournament 3" and wait for it to finish loading. Click the "Settings" option on the main menu when it appears.

  Click the "Player" tab at the top of the screen. Click the "Customize Character" option at the bottom of the next screen.

  Select the "Create New" option. Click on one of the four different character races, and then click "Next."

  Click on the name of the character to which you want to change. A picture of his face appears on the left of the screen and a description at the bottom. Once you are satisfied with the character, click "Next."

  Click on the part of the character you want to change to select it, and then click the arrows next to it to cycle through the available options. Any changes you make will display on the character avatar on the left of your screen. Once you are satisfied with the changes, click the "Accept" button.
