How to Unlock Blackrock Caverns

The Blackrock Caverns make up a dungeon found in the "Cataclysm" expansion pack to the 2004 computer game "World of Warcraft." Like in the rest of the dungeons, a player must reach the minimum level necessary to enter it so you may unlock it, and no further action is required. To unlock the Blackrock Caverns, your character must be level 77, allowing you to walk into the front entrance as normal.

  Install "Cataclysm." Without this expansion pack installed, you cannot enter the Blackrock Caverns even at level 80. Purchase the game through Battle.net, and it automatically installs to your computer.

  Double-click the "World of Warcraft" launcher. Click "Play."

  Log in to your "World of Warcraft" account. Load one of your characters into the game.

  Play through until you reach level 77. Use the same techniques and methods as you used to level up before -- completing available quests and running through dungeons.

  Go to the Blackrock Caverns in Blackrock Spire, located on your in-game map. Walk through the portal to enter the dungeon.
