Cheats and Notes for The Sims 2: Castaway

PlayStation 2 Cheats

• Activate the cheat gnome with the code "R1," "L1," "Down," "Square" and "R2," and then press "X" next to the gnome when you find it on the lot. Use your cheat codes now to enable them. Input the cheat ""R1," "Up," "X," "Square" and "L2" to achieve the optimum level for all of your motives. To receive all of the resources, enter "Square," "Triangle," "R1," "Down," "Down" and "Up." Enter "Left," "Right," "Square," "R1" and "Square" to get the maximum number of inventory items. Become a best friend to everybody you have met with the cheat "L2," "Up," "R1," "Left" and "Triangle."

PlayStation Portable Cheats

• Enter the button combination "L," "R," "Up," "X" and "R" inside a lot in Live mode to generate the cheat gnome. Find it on the lot, stand beside it and press "X"; this is the point where you enter your cheat codes. Input "Square," "Square," "Square," "Square" and "L" to receive as much food as is allowed in the game. Have a great relationship with anyone you know by using the cheat "L," "Up," "R," "Left" and "Triangle." To fill your inventory, enter "Left," "Right," "Square," "R" and "Square." Increase your motives to the highest possible level with the cheat "R," "Up," "X," "Square" and "L." Enter "Square," "Triangle," "R," "Down," "Down" and "Up" to get all of the crafting resources.

Wii Cheats

• Press "B," "Z," "Up," "Down" and "B" to generate the cheat gnome somewhere on your lot. Locate it and then enter a cheat code. Enter "Z," "A," "B" and then "2" to achieve the best relationship possible with all of your acquaintances. Complete all of your motives immediately by using the cheat "Minus," "Plus," "Z," "Z" and "A." For the maximum amount of food, input "Left," "Right," "Left," "Right" and "A."

Notes

• Bugs are collectible items in this game. The orange variety can be found in the sewing and easel areas. The pink bugs are in the vine area, and the blue ones are in the canoe or raw food area. This note applies only to the DS version of the game.

  To get past the vines that stop you from exploring the island, head to the crafting rock, which is the rock and hammer on your map. Select the rock, and you will make a hatchet, which you can use to chop the vines down. Go to Crystal Island, and send an SOS on your radio. You will be abducted by an alien spaceship but returned moments later holding a can of alien food. These two notes work on all platforms.
