How to Mod a Bow on Minecraft

"Minecraft" is a sandbox game that gives you freedom to build and explore randomly generated landscapes. A useful tool when exploring is a bow and arrows. While the base game just gives you the opportunity to use a basic bow, through the use of mods, you can make bows that fire exploding arrows, start fires, or even spawn enemies. Modded bows expand the capabilities of the game.

  Download the "Elemental Bows" mod.

  Unzip the file using an archive program (Winzip, 7-zip, etc).

  Go to the Minecraft directory on your computer. It is in the "AppData" folder.

  Go to the "bin" folder and open "minecraft.jar" with your archive program.

  Drag the mod files into the minecraft.jar archive.

  Delete the "Meta-Inf" folder in the archive.

  Close the archive.

  Run "Minecraft."

  Craft a bow and open your inventory.

  Place the bow on the bottom of your craft window and place "Flint and Steel" above it to make a fire bow. Place a torch above the bow to make a torch bow. Place TNT above the bow to make a TNT bow. Place three pieces of TNT around the bow for a Creeper spawning bow. Place an egg above the bow to make a chicken spawning bow.
