How to Change a Sim's Aspiration on The Sims 2 for a PC

The game "The Sims 2" introduced the concept of aspirations where Sims aspire to achieve something. When you create an adult Sim character, you pick an aspiration to achieve. As child Sims grow to teens, you must choose an aspiration for them. While the original base game for "The Sims 2" did not allow for these aspirations to change, the expansions that followed allowed for such changes.

Instructions

University Expansion

  Enroll your teen in a university.

  Allow your college Sim to pass through their sophomore year of school.

  Click on the Want, "Change Aspiration," that appears soon after completing their sophomore year. Change the aspiration to whatever you want. All the options for aspirations is available for you to choose from.
Nightlife Expansion

  Purchase the ReNuYuSenso Orb from the aspiration reward center in your game. The Orb costs 6250 aspiration points.

  Click on the ReNuYuSenso Orb to activate it. A box will pop up on the screen with all the aspirations.

  Choose your Sim's new aspiration.
