How to Remove Lifetime Rewards on The Sims 3

"The Sims 3" is a computer game that allows you to create virtual characters known as Sims. These Sims take part in everyday activities, such as finding jobs and forming relationships. As Sims accomplish these tasks, they earn points that can be spent on lifetime rewards. Lifetime rewards are designed to make a Sim's life easier, but can become boring after a while. Currently there is no way to remove lifetime rewards by default, but you can install a mod, known as "SuperComputer," to remove them yourself.

Instructions

  Go to the-isz.com website. This is currently the only website that has the "SuperComputer" mod download. Click the "Register" button at the top left of the screen. Fill in your information and click "Create Account."

  Log in to your account. Click the "NRaas Mods" link on the home page. Type "SuperComputer" into the search bar at the top right of the screen, then press "Search."

  Download the "SuperComputer" mod. Wait for the file to finish downloading. This can take between one to five minutes depending on your computer speed. Extract the file by right-clicking it and selecting "Extract."

  Install the mod by clicking "Start," "My Documents," then "Electronic Arts." Open "The Sims 3" folder, then "Downloads." Copy and paste the "SuperComputer" mod from your desktop into the "Downloads" folder.

  Launch "The Sims 3" game and navigate to "Buy Mode." Purchase a computer and place it on your home lot.

  Click on the Sim that has the lifetime reward you would like to remove. This will make it the active character in your file.

  Click on the computer. A pop-up menu will appear. Click "Master Computer," "Sims..." then "Advanced." A new pop-up menu will appear at this point. Click "Traits," then "Drop Reward."

  Select the lifetime reward you would like to remove, then click "Okay." The lifetime reward will now be removed.
