How to Move a Minecraft World

Creativity and adventure are two of the key elements that has made "Minecraft" a hit game. Every time you start a new game, a new world will be randomly generated for you, ready to be explored. Yet with each world having a different biome, you may want to explore a lot of different worlds. Moving worlds to different parts of your computer will help you accomplish the task of exploring the "Minecraft" worlds to the fullest.

     Select the "Start" menu button on your computer and click the "Start Search" box.

     Type in " %appdata% " (without the quotes) in the box and press "Enter."

     Double-Click the ".minecraft" folder to enter it and find your saved worlds.

     Select your saved world folder by right-clicking and choosing to copy it. Paste the saved world in your desired location.
