How to Pick Out What Clothes You Want Your Sims to Wear

Some players want to assign a particular outfit for a Sim to wear during particular events. For example, if you want your Sim to wear a costume all the time, assign them to wear it each day. The Sim will change into the assigned outfit after taking a shower or coming home from work, if the job requires a uniform. In addition to everyday outfits, assigning outfits for occasions like swimming and formals is available.

Instructions

  Click on the "Buy" icon. Click on the icon that resembles a triangle made of three circles to find the dressers. Scroll through the selection of dressers until you find one you like. Click on it to purchase it and place it in the house you are currently playing.

  Click on the live play icon -- the image shows two people -- to exit the "Buy" menu.

  Click on the icon of the Sim whose clothing you wish to assign. Click on the dresser and select to plan an outfit type.

  Scroll through the clothing the Sim owns and click on what you want to use. Sims gain more clothing options if they purchase them on community lots.
