How to Install Galactic Civilizations 2

"Galactic Civilizations 2" gives players the opportunity to manage an interstellar empire. It is a turn based strategy game that shares some similarities to the "Civilization" and "Master of Orion" franchises. Diplomacy, resource management, research goals, cultural exchange and military strategy can all be managed by the player. The computer-controlled empires interact with each other in the same ways they interact with the player-controlled empires. This allows players to more easily follow peaceful empire management without being attacked with little to no reason by computer opponents.

     Insert the "Galactic Civilizations 2" CD into your computer. The installer should start on its own unless you have disabled the auto run option.

     Double click the "Galactic Civilizations 2" icon in the "My Computer" folder if the installer does not start automatically.

     Click "Install Game" from the installer menu.

     Press the "Next" button.

   • 5

     Choose a directory for the game files to be installed in. This step is optional. You can have it install to the default path.

     Press the "Next" button to install the game files. The installer prompts you once all of the files have been successfully installed.
