Tempest Keep
Begin the fight with the first of Kael'thas's advisers, Thaladred the Darkener, in the final room of Tempest Keep, and kill him using ranged damage attacks. He will use the spell Gaze on a random member of your raiding party, and will follow that person until she dies, or until he casts the spell again. Stay out of melee range (5 yards or closer) if you are the target of this spell, as it deals massive amounts of damage.
Begin the fight with Lord Sanguinar in the same room after the first adviser dies. Have the main tank (a strong defensive class designed to be an enemy's main target) hold Lord Sanguinar's attention by using high-threat abilities while everyone else works to kill Lord Sanguinar as quickly as possible. Have a priest target the tank and cast Fear Ward, or have a shaman cast a Tremor Totem spell nearby, to prevent the tank from losing the boss's attention when he uses his area-effect fear ability.
Have a warlock and hunter stop damaging Lord Sanguinar before he dies, and move them to the center of the room. When Grand Astromancer Capernian begins attacking, have the hunter target the warlock and use the Misdirection spell to make all of the hunter's threat transfer over to the warlock; have the warlock cast Searing Pain directly on the boss to hold her attention. Kill Capernian using those ranged damage classes (such as spellcasters or hunters) who can inflict damage from at least 30 yards to avoid being hit by Capernian's Conflagration ability.
Have the main tank get the attention of the final adviser, Master Engineer Telonicus, then use your entire party to kill Telonicus normally. All melee classes should stay on the opposite side of the boss from the main tank to avoid the area-effect damage Telonicus deals using his bombs.
Fight and kill the seven legendary weapons that Kael'thas will summon after you kill the advisers he has been using to defend himself. Have a hunter or shaman hold the attention of the bow while the main tank and two off-tanks hold the attention of the other six weapons by using area-effect spells and abilities that grant high amounts of threat. Kill the bow and staff first with ranged and melee damage abilities and spells, then kill the rest of the weapons in whatever order is most convenient.
Have everyone in the raid loot the dead weapon that fits her class and role, then equip it for the next part of the fight. For example, offensive spell-casters should loot and equip the staff weapon.
Fight all four of the resurrected advisers together using the same techniques as before. Melee damage classes should attack Lord Sanguinar, while ranged damage classes should attack Thaladred the Darkener. Next, kill Capernian using ranged damage, then Telonicus using melee damage.
Have the main tank get the attention of Kael'thas as soon as he becomes active; then interrupt every one of his Fireball spells by dealing melee damage or direct damage to him. Avoid all area-effect fire spells that Kael'thas casts throughout the room, and also avoid being within melee range of the phoenixes that he summons. Damage Kael'thas until he reaches 50 percent of his health, as shown on his status bar when he is targeted. Kael'thas will repeatedly cast the Pyroblast spell. Interrupt it, or absorb its damage using the ability of the Cosmic Infuser, one of the weapons that Kael'thas summoned.
Kill the phoenixes that the boss summons and destroy their eggs before they hatch. Kael'thas will cast Gravity Lapse for 30 seconds, making everyone float in the air. Spread out the raiding party by having everyone move away from each other, and have each player move toward the ground and stay near ground level, so that no one takes take falling damage when the spell ends.
Continue to damage Kael'thas until he dies.
Magister's Terrace
Distract Kael'thas with the tank, then have the tank keep Kael'thas's attention throughout the first part of the fight.
Kill every phoenix using party members who are of ranged damage classes, and use both melee and ranged combat to destroy the egg created after each phoenix's death.
Attack Kael'thas using offensive spells and abilities. When he reaches 50 percent health, Kael'thas will cast Gravity Lapse. Avoid the large Arcane Orbs floating throughout the room, and continue to do as much damage to Kael'thas as possible. Any classes that have healing abilities should focus on keeping the entire party alive.
Attack Kael'thas with everything you have when he stops attacking to restore his magical energy.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 until Kael'thas is dead.
