How to Do the Hunt for Sylvanas in World of Warcraft

One of the treacherous acts Arthas commits on his way to becoming the Lich King was to kill the high elf Sylvanas. Sylvanas returned as part of the undead race and is now the undead leader. As an enemy of the Alliance faction, Sylvanas's life is constantly threatened. The "Hunt for Sylvanas" quest introduced in the "Cataclysm" expansion of "World of Warcraft" is part of a series of quests that has you tail Sylvanas in an attempt to bring her down.

Instructions

- 1
  Talk to Lorna Crowley in Greymane Court. Accept the "Hunt for Sylvanas" quest. Run outside immediately and head to the right, toward the water. You'll see Tobias Mistmantle.

  Follow Tobias Mistmantle across the water. Tobias travels at a high rate of speed. You cannot lose him, or you will fail the quest.

  Continue following Tobias into the Cathedral Quarter. Tobias will stop at a wall. Do not go past him. Wait until he runs toward the cathedral and follow him. Once inside, Tobias will jump into a small body of water and hide. Jump into the water and remain next to him. Before long, Sylvanas will enter the building. You will see "Hunt for Sylvanas Completed" as Sylvanas turns to leave.

  Run back to Lorna Crowley and turn in the quest.
