How to Kill Ulkair

Ulkair, the Great Unclean One, is the final boss in the campaign for "Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II -- Chaos Rising." He has more than double the health of any other boss encountered, including Eliphas the Inheritor. In addition, he has two attacks, devour and vomit, which instantly kill anything hit with them. Ulkair can be stunned, which means the correct abilities can be used to lock him down. Due to his huge amount of health, expect the fight to take at least 10 minutes.

Instructions

  Use the Force Commander's Battle Cry ability. This should be reused every 60 seconds.

  Stun Ulkair by casting Jonah's Smite, Cyrus' Drop Smoke and Tarkus' Feel No Pain abilities in succession. The Force Commander's Battle Cry also stuns Ulkair when used. Each ability has a reuse timer. Wait until the stun from the previous ability wears off before casting the next one to maximize the amount of time Ulkair is stunned.

  Use Tarkus' Tactical Advance ability to render him and the Force Commander invincible as long as he has energy to maintain it. The Force Commander's Battle Cry ability, in addition to other effects, regenerates the energy of his allies, which helps to maintain Tactical Advance for extended periods of time.

  Attack Ulkair with Tarkus and the Force Commander using melee weapons.

  Cast Ignite Soul with Jonah to do damage to Ulkair whenever this ability is available.

  Use Remote Detonation Charges with Cyrus to help damage Ulkair.

  Heal damaged Space Marines using Stimulant Kits with Cyrus. Due to one of his abilities, he is able to use kits with only an energy cost. This means he is not limited by the number of kits you have.

  Revive any Space Marines that fall using Jonah's Purify ability.
- 9
  Revive Jonah using a Stimulant Kit with Cyrus, if he falls.
- 10
  Repeat Steps 1-9 until Ulkair runs out of health.
