How to Play Bar Room Bingo

If you are looking for a simple and entertaining game to play at the bar with your buddies, consider playing bar room bingo. While bingo may have a reputation as being a slow game, bar room bingo takes the numbers and letters out of the cards and replaces them with words that describe people, behaviors and items found in a bar. You can spice up the game by using a camera to document the things you are supposed to find on your bingo card, which also provides you with photographic memorabilia for remembering the night.

Bingo cards
Markers

Instructions

  Review the bar room bingo cards. Familiarize yourself with the types of items or people you are required to find in the bar. Some items might include a lipstick mark on a glass, a man wearing sunglasses, a frozen cocktail, someone who fell down or a business card exchange.

  Start the game on the bingo host's mark. Walk around the bar looking for the items or people on your bingo card. Check off the boxes with a marker as you find what you are looking for.

  Decide how you want to look for the items or people in the boxes. In order to win the bingo game, you must have one complete row of boxes checked off horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Thus, you may want to pick a row of items to look for --- or perhaps just look for everything and check the boxes off as you go.

  Take pictures of your findings with a digital camera. Digital cameras work effectively when teams of bingo players are playing against each other. Each team receives a camera to document what it finds, and at the end of the game the teams compare pictures for further entertainment.

  Win the game by being the first person or team to get a full bingo line on the card. Call out "Bingo!" when you win, then get back to the game host first to prove that you are indeed the winner.
