Things You'll Need
Instructions
Unscrew the back compartment with a Phillips screwdriver and insert two AA batteries. Tightly replace the screws to ensure that the batteries are secured.
Press the "ON/OFF" button on the console to turn on Electronic Guesstures. The screen will display a welcome message, indicating that the console is on.
Place the console on a table and have the players sit around it. Divide the players into two teams; it does not matter if one team has more players than the other.
Choose a player on both teams to be the Actor. The player representing the Actor changes on both teams after each turn.
Hold the console so that the front of the screen reads "This Side to Act Rules." The opposite side of the console will read "This Side to Guess."
Locate the black and white bar on the top of the console. This is known as a clapboard. Push it down to start your turn; the timer begins immediately. The Actor now acts out the word on the screen while his teammates attempt to guess the word. Each team has 30 seconds to guess as many words as possible on their turn.
Press the clapboard to register a point if your team guesses the word correctly. Once your team has guessed the word correctly, it appears on the Guesser's display screen. The Actor's screen will display a new word plus the time and the number of total points for the team.
Press the clapboard again to receive a new word on the game console. Skipping words is forbidden; if you cannot act out a word, you must either attempt it or finish your turn.
Forfeit all of your points for the round if you continue to act after the timer runs out. Because of this, Actors can stop acting at any time as a precaution.
"Challenge" the Guessing team if you feel they have broken one of the two rules: No talking or making sounds and no visual aids. However, Actors are allowed to mouth words but not the actual Guess word.
Give the console to the other team and repeat. Win the game by being the first team to reach 15 points.
