Candy Games for Kids

It's no secret that kids love candy. Children also enjoy playing games both online and in real life. So it's little surprise that candy games are adored by both children and adults. You may even want to offer candy as a prize to the game winner. Candy games can include board games themed around candy or online games featuring candy.
  1. Candy Land

    • Candy Land is a traditional board game that several generations of kids have enjoyed. The game can be purchased at any big-box retailer or online. Candy Land comes in other versions, including one featuring Dora the Explorer and another with the Winnie-the-Pooh characters. To play Candy Land, a player draws a card and moves his game piece to the color indicated on the card. Players will pass through the Peppermint Forest and Ice Cream Sea. The first player who reaches the Candy Castle is the winner. The Hasbro site also features two online games, "Lolly's Garden" and "Candy Land Tag."

Wanna B Wonka? Crazy Candy Creation Game

    • The website MoFunZone offers a game based on the children's story and movies about the eccentric Willy Wonka and his candy factory. Kids can create an avatar to move ladders and other objects to help the Oompa Loompas collect the candy supplies. These supplies are taken to the Top Secret Room, where the players can devise unique candies.

    Carries Candies

    • The Carries Candies website offers a candy word search. Kids must try to locate all the candy names listed to the right of a standard word search form. The words can run horizontally, vertically or diagonally. It is a timed game. Another candy activity featured is the "Magic Candy Ball," a form of fortune-telling. Kids type in a question that can be answered with a "yes" or "no." The Magic Candy Ball will provide the answer. The site also offers candy jokes and information about candy factory tours.

    Treasure Hunt

    • Put together a treasure hunt game with candy. Gather a variety of candies, such as. bags of Skittles, Snickers candy bars and jelly beans. Hide these items in different locations. Type up a list with each type of candy listed and a hint where to find that item; for example, you could hide bags of Skittles under objects, Snickers over objects and bags of jelly beans by objects. The first child back with one of each type of candy wins a basket filled with more sweets.
