Object
The object of the Game of Life is to collect as much money as possible and have the highest dollar amount at the end of the game.
Beginning
To begin the game, all the players spin the wheel on the board. The player with the highest number on the spinner is awarded the first turn. Game play continues from that person in a clockwise fashion.
Turns
Each player, in turn, spins the wheel to determine the number of spaces to move. Players move their token cars forward in the direction of the arrows. If a person lands on an occupied space, he must move to the next open space.
Spaces
There are four types of spaces on the Life board. Orange spaces feature directions that must be followed. Blue spaces feature directions that can be followed only if the player wants. Green spaces are payday spaces. Players collect money when they land on or pass these spaces. The three red spaces require players to stop regardless of the number on the spinner, and the player must search for a job, get married or buy a house.
Special Rules
Two specialized rules are optional. If a player becomes an accountant, all tax payments are made to her. If a person becomes a police officer, every time a player spins a ten, $5,000 must be paid to the officer.
