Things You'll Need
Instructions
Give each player $325 before you begin to play Payday. This is their starting money. Each player also needs to choose a token to represent him or her on the game board.
Predetermine how many months you will play before you start; generally, between 2 and 6 months is recommended. Select who will go first by rolling the die. High roll wins, and play passes to the left of whoever went prior.
Roll the die and move the number of spaces indicated by the die roll.
Follow the instructions presented on the day you land on once you've rolled the die. Sometimes you'll have to take a card, other times you'll have to pay for utilities.
Purchase or refuse Deals whenever you land on a Deal card. If you land on the Buyer space later, you'll be able to sell the Deal for a profit.
Decide whether to take advantage of the benefits of some mail cards. For instance, you can make a lot of money playing the lottery, but only if you land on a lottery payoff space. Once the month is over, uncollected lottery tickets are returned to the banker and you gain no benefits.
Stop movement at every Payday, regardless of what you rolled. You'll collect your pay before continuing on to the next week.
Pay off loans whenever you finish out a month. The less you have to repay in loans at the end of the game, the more money you'll have to factor into your final total.
Determine the winner by seeing who has the most money at the end of the final month of play. Don't forget to have players pay back loans before totaling up the final scores.
