Here's how it works:
* Hooking onto existing words: You must connect your tiles to at least one already played word on the board, either horizontally or vertically.
* Forming new words: Your tiles, when played, must form at least one new word. This can be:
* A single word connecting to an existing word.
* Multiple new words by forming a "crossword" pattern.
* Even a single word that connects to two different existing words!
Example:
Imagine the word "CAT" is already on the board. You could play the tiles "S", "O", and "P" to form the following:
* "SCAT" (horizontally)
* "COP" (vertically)
This would be a valid move, forming two new words with your three tiles.
Important Note:
* All words must be valid Scrabble words.
* Points are scored for all the words formed, including any existing words that are extended.
* You can't use the same tiles to form multiple words in a single play. Each tile must be used only once.
