Here's how it works:
* Dealing: Each player receives six cards.
* Discarding: Players discard two cards to form a "crib" (a hand belonging to the dealer).
* Cutting: The non-dealer cuts the deck to determine the "starter card" (the top card of the cut deck).
* Playing Cards: Players take turns laying down cards in order of rank, with the goal of reaching 31 or as close as possible without going over.
* Scoring: Points are scored for various combinations of cards, like pairs, runs, flushes, and fifteens.
* The Crib: The dealer scores the crib after all the cards have been played.
So, while dice and question cards are common in other games, they have no place in cribbage!
