Additional Rules:

* No retreat: Once a piece has moved, it cannot be moved back to its original position.

* Visibility: Players can only see their own pieces and the pieces in adjacent squares.

* No communication: Players are not allowed to communicate with each other about their piece placements.

* Game variations: There are several variations of the game, including different board sizes, piece numbers, and rank hierarchies.

Tips:

* Strategic placement: Place your pieces strategically to defend your flag and attack your opponent's.

* Use your scouts wisely: Scouts can provide valuable information about your opponent's pieces.

* Be cautious with your Marshal: Your Marshal is your most valuable piece, but it is also the most vulnerable.

* Don't underestimate the Spy: The Spy can be a powerful weapon, especially against your opponent's Marshal.

Stratego is a game of strategy, deception, and a little bit of luck. Enjoy the game!
