Instructions
Check to make sure the printer is in "Ready" mode.
Lift the auto sheet feeder, located on the top of the printer, to the vertical position. Pull the paper guide extensions out to support longer or wider envelopes. Flip out the edge guide located along the right edge of the sheet feeder if using especially long envelopes to ensure straight entry.
Open the exit tray at its center located on the front face of the printer. Pull out the exit tray extensions with a hand on each side of the tray. Pull the tray until the triangle icon on the top right corner of the tray is visible and lined up with the adjacent triangle on the printer face.
Locate the edge guide on top of the printer where paper is inserted. Squeeze the guide and slide it left or right as necessary until the space created is just wider than the size of the envelopes being used. Insert envelopes along the right edge of the paper insert.
Insert up to 10 envelopes at a time. Flatten curved edges. Align multiple envelopes so ends are square.
Orient envelope(s) with flaps down -- so the address area to be printed on is facing up. Orient the envelope(s) further by inserting the top right, the portion of the envelope where stamps are pasted, into the paper feed.
Feed the envelopes slowly until resistance is felt, and do not force the envelopes further. Squeeze the edge guide again, and slide it to the right so it is flush against the envelope(s). Press "print."
