How to Make Jigsaw Puzzles for Kids

Jigsaw puzzles "were originally used solely for educational purposes; kids would put together maps that had been cut into pieces to aid them in learning geography," according to puzzle collector and author Dr. Anne D. Williams. Today children usually put together puzzles for amusement rather than educational purposes, but purchasing puzzles can get expensive. Making them at home is easy and affordable, and creating your own jigsaw puzzles allows you to control the level of difficulty for each puzzle. Changing the images and the difficulty level allows you to make both educational and amusing puzzles for kids of all ages.
