How do you glue puzzles with Elmers glue?

You should NOT use Elmer's glue to glue puzzles together.

Here's why:

* Elmer's glue is water-based: This means it will soak into the cardboard and potentially warp the puzzle pieces.

* It's not strong enough: Elmer's glue isn't designed for permanently bonding surfaces like puzzle pieces. It can easily be broken apart.

* It can leave a white residue: This will make your puzzle look messy and detract from its appearance.

Instead of Elmer's glue, consider using:

* Puzzle glue: This is specifically designed for puzzles and will provide a strong, permanent bond without warping the pieces.

* Mod Podge: A sealant and adhesive that can be used on paper, cardboard, and other surfaces. It dries clear and will help protect your finished puzzle.

How to use puzzle glue or Mod Podge:

1. Clean your puzzle: Remove any dust or debris with a dry cloth.

2. Apply glue or Mod Podge: Use a brush to apply a thin, even coat to the back of the puzzle. Avoid getting glue on the front of the puzzle.

3. Press firmly: Gently press the puzzle pieces together, making sure all edges are securely bonded.

4. Let dry: Allow the glue or Mod Podge to dry completely according to the instructions on the packaging.

Important note: If you want to be able to take your puzzle apart again in the future, you can use a temporary adhesive like repositionable spray adhesive or a non-permanent glue stick. Just remember that these adhesives won't be as strong as permanent solutions.
