Soggy Sweatsuit Relay Race
Purchase two extra large sweatsuit outfits (top and bottom). Divide the players into two teams and have them line up at a starting line. Place a large bucket of water in between the teams at the starting line and hand the first player in each team line a sweatsuit. Place a cone about 25 feet away from the startling line. When you say, "Race," the players have to dip the sweatsuits into the water and put them on. They have to run around the cone and back. They then give the sweatsuit to the next player in line who has to do the same thing. The first team to finish wins the race.
Water Tug of War
Place a large plastic swimming pool in the middle of the yard. Divide the players into equal (size and weight, also) teams. Give the players a large rope and have each team stand on one side of the pool. When you say, "Go," the players have to pull as hard as they can to pull the other team into the swimming pool. The first team to get wet loses the game.
Shaving Cream Pop
Have the players split into teams of five or six players. Fill several balloons with shaving cream and give each team a bucket of 12 balloons. Tell the teams to line up at a starting line and place a large tarp about 15 feet away from the starting line. The players have to take a balloon to the tarp and pop it using their feet, hands or bottom. The more shaving cream gets on the tarp, the harder the balloons are to pop. The first team to pop all their team balloons wins the game.
Water Sponge Tag
Mark off a play area with a rope or cones. Select one player to be "it" and give that player a large sponge. Place a bucket of water in the middle of the play area. "It" has to dip the sponge into the water bucket and try to tag another player by tossing the sponge at him. If the sponge hits a player, that player is the new "it." If he misses a player, he has to dip the sponge back in water and try again. Play until everyone has a chance to be "it."
